Lily Kusmik, formerly Lillian Allen Tatum (also known as “The WineTopper Lady”), is primarily known for her work in porcelain—both the original WineTopper product (GUARANTEED UNBREAKABLE!), which she developed in 1993—and her handformed vessel-form sculptures, marketed as “LilyArt”, which have evolved over a period of 20 years. Recently, Lily has returned to a passion developed in the 1990's--Raku.
Lily has done commissioned work for Marriott’s Global Marketing Group, Palomar Hotels, and various restaurants and wineries. She has worked with numerous brides in developing a WineTopper design that would serve as a wedding favor: the unbreakability of the WineTopper is symbolic of the wedding bond itself. She has also done custom work for our own beloved Jeri Hough in Mobile!
